bullet GPS Tracking Systems

A Typical handheld GPS receiver calculates position by using the signals from at least four or more satellites. For accurate working, four satellites requires a very accurate local time and position.

Every satellite sends signals which are able to travel at the speed of light through outer space and which lowers down through the atmosphere. The hand-held device uses the arrival time of the signal to compute the distance to each satellite. In this way, it determines the position of the receiver.

The new GPS tracker device has the ability to track any one. Almost all new mobile have GPS tracking device built in to them.

There are basically two types of GPS Tracking device technology which is available for public, one is the simplest one which is known as Passive or Logger tracking device, these devices are most difficult to detect and defend and can be as small as matchbook. They can be attached to the vehicle or individual and after some time the data can be retrieved by attaching to the computer.

The other type of GPS auto tracker or personal GPS tracking device are called real time tracking devices. As the name implies they provide the current real time location of the individual or vehicle which is being tracked.
